A well-established building and construction company based in the City of London is looking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to provide maternity cover for a period of 6-12 months. This is a key role within the business, supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring everything runs smoothly while the current Office Manager is on leave. This position would suit someone organised, proactive and confident managing a busy office environment within the building and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the office
- Provide administrative support to senior management and project teams
- Coordinate meetings, diaries and office schedules
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and clients
- Assist with basic accounts administration including invoicing and reconciliation support
- Maintain office systems, records and documentation
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience working as an Office Manager or Senior Administrator
