This is a great opportunity to join a company that continues to grow in the M&E space in London. You'll support the delivery of a variety of medium-sized mechanical projects across the City of London, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, working closely with the Project Manager, clients, subcontractors and the wider supply chain. Having experience on multiple mid-size or small works projects is essential to succeed in this role. Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, trades and suppliers, and taking ownership of defined elements of project delivery. Maintain HSQE procedures and prepare weekly site condition and safety reports. Ensuring programmes, method statements and risk assessments are up to date and implemented. Carry out site surveys to scope works for costing. Prepare smaller variations and minor works and support cost tracking against budget. Identify and escalate project risks and issues in a timely manner.The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar with a strong grounding in mechanical building services, ready for the next step in their career. You'll ideally have: Experience in a mechanical/building services project delivery role with practical knowledge of mechanical building services and infrastructure, ideally within critical environments, commercial fit-out or data centres. Experience across a range of medium-sized projects. A good understanding of the full project lifecycle, through to commissioning and handover. Good commercial awareness, including project costs, variations and budget tracking. The ability to read drawings, specifications and programmes. Strong organisational and communication skills. CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, relevant building services qualification (desirable but not essential).
