Our client is a leading provider of electrical testing and inspection services across London. We specialise in commercial Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and ensure compliance with the latest building and construction regulations. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join the team. The ideal candidate will be confident working with commercial EICRs, technically proficient, and comfortable using a laptop for reporting and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical testing & inspection on commercial sites around the City of London in accordance with BS 7671 regulations.
- Conduct EICRs, identifying defects, deviations, and necessary remedial works.
- Use testing equipment and complete detailed reports on a laptop.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and provide clear recommendations.
- Work independently and liaise with clients, site managers, and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2391, 2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection Qualification) - Essential
- Strong experience with commercial EICRs - Essential
- Good technical knowledge of electrical systems and regulations
- Previous experience as an Electrical Tester
Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in using a laptop for test reports and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to diagnose electrical faults
- Good communication skills for reporting and liaising with clients
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
