The Role
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Deliver consistently high-quality food in line with Compass standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Supervise and support kitchen teams during service
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen management, hygiene, and Health Safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef
- Experience within business industry, schools, care homes, or contract catering environments (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Compass Group standards
- Ability to adapt quickly to different sites and teams
- DBS certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Level 2 Food Safety (minimum requirement)
- Own transport preferable
