Constellation is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Hospital Porters and Porter Dispatch Staff at Kings Mill Hospital. If you're reliable, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a busy healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Hospital PorterAs a Hospital Porter, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by safely transferring patients between departments throughout the hospital. You'll be an important part of the hospital team, ensuring patients are transported efficiently and with care.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Rota over 7 days, including alternate weekends
- 3 positions: 2:30pm – 10:30pm
- 2 positions: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
This role is ideal for someone with basic IT skills who enjoys coordinating and communicating with others. You'll receive full training on the hospital's dispatch system and will be responsible for:
- Inputting patient arrival times
- Coordinating porter requests
- Using a handheld radio to communicate with porters across the hospital
- Supporting the smooth running of the porter service
Shift Pattern: 4 days over 7, including alternate weekends
7.5-hour shifts
Shift start times may be 6:00am or 2:00pm
