Matchday CDP Chef – Constellation at Northampton Saints Location: Northampton Saints Employer: Constellation Role: MATCHDAY ONLY Rate of Pay: £17.14 per hour ⚠️ MATCHDAY-ONLY CHEF ROLE Constellation are looking for experienced Chef de Parties (CDPs) to join our catering team at Northampton Saints. This is a strictly matchday-only role . You will be required to work home matchdays at Northampton Saints , supporting the delivery of food across hospitality and retail catering areas. If you enjoy working in a busy, high-energy environment and have the skills and experience of a CDP, this is a great opportunity to be part of the Constellation team at Saints. What You'll Be Doing As a Matchday CDP Chef, you will work across different areas of the venue, including hospitality and retail operations. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and cooking food for matchday buffet service Building and presenting buffet food within hospitality areas Working in rooms with hospitality customers , ensuring food is replenished and presented to a high standard Preparing and cooking food within retail kiosks Supporting food service across the venue during busy matchdays Completing food preparation before service and maintaining stock levels throughout Ensuring excellent food quality, presentation and consistency Working efficiently as part of a larger matchday kitchen and catering team Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Following all food hygiene, health & safety and allergen procedures What We're Looking For You will have the skills and experience expected of a Chef de Partie , including: Previous experience working as a CDP or in a similar professional chef position Strong food preparation and cooking skills The ability to work confidently on your own section Experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen or high-volume catering environment Good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety procedures Awareness of allergen controls and safe food handling Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure A positive attitude and strong team-working skills Pride in the quality and presentation of your food Flexibility to work across both hospitality and retail catering areas Essential Requirement You must be able to commit to working home matchdays at Northampton Saints. This is MATCHDAY ONLY work — there is no requirement for non-matchday shifts .Reliability and punctuality are essential, as matchdays are busy and our catering operation relies on having a strong team in place.
