Overview of
Responsibilities
- Follow cleaning schedules to the exact standards and follow chemical COSHH information set by the Back of house Manager.
- Ensuring all cutlery, crockery and glassware is professionally cleaned before and after use and ensure all service areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe.
- Cleaning of all cooking utensils as required by the culinary team during the preparation (mis-en-place) and service times.
- Comply with all company policies including Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
- Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Communicating with the kitchen team and front of house colleagues to ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Cleaning of kitchen work areas during and after use and removal of kitchen waste to the appropriate area.
- Assisting with the set up and clear down of your area, ready for the next service.
- Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with company policy.
- To be polite & courteous to all members of staff, client & public General Day to Day Tasks

- Glass crushing / Glass washing
- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
- Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day
- Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
- Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher
- Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
- Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers Working Hours Hours at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will very event to event approximate shift length - 7/8 hours – if successful there will be opportunities to work extra days in the week.
Availability for night shift is preferred as these shifts are available also working patterns - 20:00 to 7:00 am or 23:00 to 07:00 depending on kick off time Candidate Specifications Basic Food Hygiene/level 2 Eager to work in a busy working environment Excellent communication amongst all departments in the business.
Remaining calm under pressure to ensure smooth deliver in service.
