Your Role as Head Chef

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of chefs and kitchen staff
  • Overseeing all kitchen operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service
  • Preparing and delivering exceptional food to the highest culinary standards
  • Maintaining consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
  • Managing stock, ordering and minimising food waste
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement within the kitchen operation
  • Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
  • Supporting the delivery of premium hospitality experiences during major sporting events, conferences and banquets
  • Working collaboratively with venue management and front-of-house teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef within a high-quality restaurant environment (essential)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience leading high-volume kitchen operations
  • Excellent culinary knowledge with a passion for food innovation
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced events environment
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and major event days

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef in a premium restaurant, hospitality or events environment is essential.
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
  • Thorough understanding of HACCP, Food Safety, Health & Safety and allergen management.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop kitchen teams.
