Are you passionate about food, customer service, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Kiosk Team Leader to take charge of daily operations and inspire a team to deliver outstanding service to customers!
As Kiosk Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing catering kiosk operations and a team of up to 10 catering team members.
Location : Select Car Leasing Stadium, RG2 0FL
Working Times: Approx. 4-6hours per shift, Saturday match days
Due to licensing laws and the sale of alcohol, all applicants must be 18+ years old.
As an integral member of the management team, you must be able to commit to the Reading FC home fixtures throughout the 2025/26 season: Reading FC | Men matches

What you'll be doing:
- Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive fan experience
- Oversee food preparation, stock control, cleanliness, and compliance with hygiene regulations
- Manage cash handling, operate tills, and complete kiosk reporting and end-of-day paperwork
- Ensure smooth and efficient kiosk operations, particularly during high-pressure periods such as halftime
- Act as the primary link between frontline staff and senior management
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure all team members are working collaboratively and efficiently
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction
- Ensure fast, accurate, and friendly food and beverage service to fans
- Deliver clear pre-shift briefings and ensure all staff are adequately trained and prepared
- Take full responsibility for the correct shutdown of the kiosk, including cleaning, stock checks, and paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in a bar, pub, restaurant, or fast-paced hospitality environment
- Must be able to commute to Reading FC.
- Availability to work the majority of matchdays throughout the football season
- Willingness to learn—on-the-job training will be provided by management
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and support your team
- A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
- A team player who leads by example and fosters a positive working environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Confident problem-solver, capable of handling challenges quickly and effectively
- Commitment to delivering consistently high levels of customer service
