As a Regional People Consultant, you will play a key role in building, supporting, and deploying a high-quality workforce that underpins exceptional guest experiences across a diverse portfolio of venues. This is a fast-paced, event-led environment where no two days or events are the same. You’ll engage with a varied workforce and collaborate closely with operational leaders to ensure seamless delivery across a dynamic and high-volume event calendar.
This position, based primarily in Huddersfield, with responsibility for workforce delivery at this site and regional support across Burnley and Sheffield United and wider Northern support as required by the business. You will lead end-to-end workforce planning, resourcing, and operational delivery, ensuring staffing levels are aligned to demand and operational teams are fully supported to deliver against client and commercial expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and delivery of end-to-end staffing across assigned venues
- Forecast and map workforce requirements in line with event schedules
- Build and manage efficient, compliant rotas aligned to operational demand
- Take full accountability for staffing fulfilment across all events
- Develop strong, credible relationships with GMs and operational teams
- Align workforce planning with business needs and service expectations
- Act as a key point of contact for workforce-related queries, escalations, and planning
- Partner with the Resourcing team to attract and onboard high-quality candidates
- Maintain a consistent and engaged workforce pool
- Match individuals to roles based on skills, experience, and operational fit
- Be present on-site during key events, managing deployment and live staffing challenges
- Respond effectively to last-minute changes, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery
- Work collaboratively with venue operations teams to ensure smooth execution
- Support employee engagement, attendance, and performance
- Maintain accurate records and reporting through workforce systems (e.g. Ubeya)
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work, and health & safety standards
- Use workforce data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
About You
You’ll bring experience within workforce planning, hospitality, or event operations, alongside the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You will be:
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- A confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels
- Solutions-focused, with the ability to adapt quickly
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and making real-time decisions
- Experienced using workforce or scheduling systems

Working Environment
Primarily based in Huddersfield, with regional travel to Burnley and Sheffield United and other northern venues as required. Fast-paced, event-driven environment requiring flexibility across evenings, weekends, and peak periods. A balance of operational floor presence and administrative planning. This role operates on a 5 out of 7 day working pattern and will include evenings, weekends, and some bank holidays.
