Shift Information
- Monday to Friday shifts only
- Typical shift times: Between 7:00am β 4:00pm
- Examples include 7:00am β 3:30pm and 7:30am β 4:00pm
- Ideally, we're looking for someone who can commit to Monday to Friday, although we are happy to split the role between two candidates with complementary availability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals for corporate dining and hospitality services
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Preparing food in line with company recipes and presentation standards
- Assisting with menu preparation and food production
- Managing stock rotation and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly
- Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Following Food Safety, Health Safety, COSHH and allergen procedures at all times
- Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional food service

What We're Looking For
- An experienced Chef de Partie or equivalent level chef
- Passion for producing fresh, high-quality food
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive, professional and team-focused attitude
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliability and commitment to delivering exceptional food and service
Uniform Equipment Requirements
- Your own chef whites
- Your own chef knives
- Black non-slip safety shoes
Skills Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar chef role is essential.
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential (training can be provided where required).
- A flexible approach and the ability to work across both the Brighton and Burgess Hill sites is advantageous.
