We're looking for experienced and professional individuals who can provide first-class wine and drinks service to our hospitality guests, creating memorable experiences in our premium lounges and restaurants on matchdays.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering exceptional wine and beverage service within our premium hospitality areas.
- Confidently opening and presenting wines at the table using the correct service techniques.
- Advising guests on wine, champagne and drinks selections.
- Explaining drinks options and making recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Serving wines and beverages to the highest professional standards.
- Maintaining excellent presentation and attention to detail throughout service.
- Working closely with the wider front-of-house and bar teams to deliver a seamless hospitality experience.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness and guest service.
- Following all company and unit policies relating to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
What we're looking for:
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- Previous experience in premium hospitality or fine dining is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of wines, champagnes, spirits and premium beverages.
- Confident opening, presenting and serving wine at the table.
- Comfortable discussing drinks menus and making informed recommendations to guests.
- A strong understanding of premium hospitality service standards and etiquette.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, polished approach.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
This is a Casual Matchday Position. This is a casual, flexible matchday role, offering the opportunity to work at Villa Park – home of Aston Villa FC throughout the football season and at other exciting events where available. Availability for the following fixtures is essential: August 29th, September 12th, October 10th and all remaining Aston Villa home fixtures throughout the season.
