We are excited to be growing our bar team at Cinque Ports, the beautiful Georgian pub with stunning sea views, located next to the coolest music venue in the country - Dreamland. Cinque Ports is known locally as the place to go before and after a gig at the iconic Dreamland, which sees some of the best names in music, as well as being a firm favourite for many.
Shifts vary between weeks and the time of the year but with hours ranging from daytime shifts to 1am finishes we have something to suit everyone. If you are experienced, have a can-do attitude, friendly, a team player, flexible, professional, have excellent time keeping with a high level of customer service we look forward to welcoming you to our team!

Working Hours
Dreamland offers a variety of shifts Monday – Sunday across the summer to cover park days and events. Cinque Ports hours will range from 11am to 1am according to events on at Dreamland and school holidays in which we will be open 7 days. Otherwise, the usual opening days are currently Thursday to Sunday 4-11pm during the week, opening at 12pm on the weekends.
Main Responsibilities
Based in our busy pub, your main task will be to provide excellent customer service to our guests who enjoy eating as well as drinking here. You will therefore be required to clear tables and generally keep a close eye on housekeeping too. You will be required to prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, coffees and replenish stocks. This will include the use of electronic till and ordering systems. Shifts will vary between front of house bar roles and back of house roles like running stock and making cocktails to serve. You must be willing to do either role.
Uniform and Parking
Black top (no logos), dark bottoms jeans are ok (no rips). Trainers are fine. Parking is free in the surrounding streets about a 5-10min walk away. You can park in the Dreamland Carpark but it will cost from £1.50-£9.00 depending on your shift length.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience, excellent communication and remaining calm under pressure will be key to ensuring smooth delivery. Cocktail and Barista experience preferred.
