We're looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who take pride in keeping our kitchens running smoothly and supporting our chefs to deliver exceptional food and service on matchdays.
What you'll be doing:
- Washing pots, pans, crockery and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping kitchen areas clean, organised and safe at all times.
- Assisting with kitchen cleaning duties before, during and after service.
- Taking in and organising deliveries.
- Supporting chefs with basic preparation and general kitchen duties when required.
- Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and work areas remain hygienic.
- Following all company and unit policies relating to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
What we're looking for:
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- Previous kitchen porter or back-of-house experience is desirable but not essential.
- A good understanding of COSHH and safe working practices within a commercial kitchen.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in wherever needed.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude and excellent attention to cleanliness.
- Physically fit and happy to undertake manual handling as part of the role.
This is a Matchday Position
Availability for the following fixtures is essential:
- Friday 31st July
- Saturday 22nd August
...and all remaining Birmingham City FC home fixtures throughout the season.
