Job Description We're recruiting reliable, hardworking Cleaners to help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic hospital environment in the BS14 0DE area of Bristol.
Our Cleaners play an important role in creating a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and healthcare staff. If you take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail and want to make a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you!
Available Shifts/n Our cleaning operation runs 7 days a week, with the following shift patterns available:
- Morning shift: 7am – 1pm
- Day shift: 12pm – 8pm
- Evening shift: 4pm – 8pm
Weekend availability is essential to support our seven-day operation. Please let us know your availability when applying.
Key Responsibilities/n As a Hospital Cleaner, you will:
- Clean hospital wards, corridors, kitchens, offices, toilets and communal areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, touchpoints and high-traffic areas
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly
- Dispose of waste in line with hospital procedures
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times
- Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH and Manual Handling requirements
- Wear the appropriate PPE and follow site safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment
What We're Looking For/n
- A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day operation, including weekends
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred
- A willingness to follow strict hygiene and infection control procedures
- Suitable footwear for the role
- An Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
