Constantinople delivers a new era of AI-native banking. Constantinople provides banks with a fully-managed software and AI operational platform, which brings together customer experience, product, data, operations, compliance and infrastructure in a single platform. Constantinople’s AI-native platform eliminates the need for expensive infrastructure, and replaces manual operational and compliance processes with AI at scale. By removing the operational complexity of banking, Constantinople enables our client banks to focus on their customers and the business of banking.
The Role
You will own the Savings and ISA product suite for our UK clients, end to end. You will set its strategy, decide what gets built and why, and be accountable for how it performs once it is live with the banks and building societies we serve. You will build products that our clients can launch quickly and run with confidence, from easy access and notice accounts to fixed-term bonds and Cash ISAs. That means getting the detail right on interest, transfers, allowances, and reporting, and making sure every product meets HMRC ISA rules and FCA requirements from day one.
You will work closely with Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Product Design, Operations, and Risk and Compliance. You will also help shape how automation and AI can take the manual work out of savings operations, so our clients can focus on their customers.
What you will do
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for UK Savings and ISA products, aligned with company goals and client needs.
- Own the product suite, including easy access, notice, fixed-term, and regular savings accounts, and Cash ISAs, with flexible ISA and Junior ISA capabilities where clients need them.
- Make sure ISA products comply with HMRC ISA regulations, including subscription limits, flexible ISA rules, ISA transfers in and out, and HMRC reporting and returns.
- Work with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams so products meet FCA and PRA requirements, including Consumer Duty, fair value assessments, and FSCS disclosure and Single Customer View requirements.
- Build interest management capabilities, such as rate changes, tiered and bonus rates, maturity handling, and customer notifications.
- Stay ahead of UK savings market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory change, including any reforms to ISA rules and allowances.
- Write clear product requirements, and work with engineering and design teams to build, test, and ship solutions.
- Own go-to-market for new products and major releases, working with Solution Engineering, Delivery, and client teams.
- Work with clients to understand their savings strategy, such as deposit gathering, funding targets, and rate positioning, and turn it into product capabilities.
- Define, measure, and analyse product metrics to drive insights, inform the roadmap, and iterate toward the best outcomes.
- Automate savings operations, such as account opening, maturities, ISA transfers, and reconciliations, to reduce manual work for our clients.
- Manage relationships with key partners and service providers, such as payments, identity verification, and ISA transfer providers.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of experience in product management, with significant time on UK savings products.
- You have hands-on experience with Cash ISAs, and you understand HMRC ISA regulations, transfers, and reporting.
- You know the UK regulatory landscape for savings, including Consumer Duty, FSCS, and the requirements set by the FCA and PRA.
- You have taken products from idea to launch, and then improved and scaled them in market.
- You are technical enough to engage credibly with engineers on architecture, integrations, and trade-offs.
- You explain complex ideas simply to technical and non-technical audiences.
- You make decisions with data, and you know which metrics show whether a product is working.
- You have a track record of driving alignment across many stakeholders, inside and outside the business.
- You have a bias for action and a willingness to do whatever it takes to solve hard problems and delight users.
Nice to have
- Experience at a challenger bank, digital savings platform, or building society.
- Experience with Lifetime ISAs, Stocks and Shares ISAs, or savings marketplaces.
- Experience with core banking platforms, or B2B or platform products serving financial institutions.
- Experience with UK payments, such as Faster Payments, Bacs, and Confirmation of Payee.
- Startup or scale-up experience.
