We are working with a successful and fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Kent, who are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to focus on new client acquisition. This is a hybrid role, ideally suited to someone based in or near Kent, with regular travel to client sites, events, and the companys head office.

What youll be doing:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities with SME clients (typically 5300 staff). You will be focused on solution-led selling, supported by expert pre-sales consultants, a skilled marketing team, and a strong reputation in the market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building a pipeline of qualified prospects across Kent and surrounding areas
- Managing the full sales cycle from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close
- Leading client meetings, presentations, and pitches
- Working closely with technical and marketing colleagues to shape tailored solutions
- Representing the business at networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetups
- Responding to RFPs and tenders with clear, client-focused proposals
