We are recruiting for a Service Desk Engineer (2nd/3rd Line) to join a respected and growing IT Managed Services Provider based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a hands-on role working as part of a small, friendly technical team providing remote support to a wide range of business clients. You will be supporting a variety of Microsoft environments and networking technologies, so it's an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical issues and wants to work across both infrastructure and connectivity challenges.
What you will be doing:
- Providing remote 2nd and 3rd line support to clients across desktop and server environments
- Troubleshooting Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Supporting routers, switches, firewalls (WatchGuard experience a bonus), and general network connectivity issues
- Escalation point for complex support issues from 1st and 2nd line teams
- Monitoring systems and resolving alerts across client environments
Shift Pattern:
- 4 days on (day shifts), 4 days off
- 4 nights on, 4 days off
- Then the pattern repeats
