Procurement & Sales Operations Manager
Paddock Wood, Kent - Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite after probation)
£50,000 – £55,000 DOE
Are you currently working within an IT reseller or MSP and own procurement and sales operations end to end? Do you enjoy improving processes, protecting margins, and making sure deals are commercially sound and delivered smoothly? We are recruiting for a Procurement and Sales Operations Manager to join a well-established and growing technology business based in Kent. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will lead the Source and Supply function and play a key part in the wider management team.
This position will suit someone who understands the detail including quoting, procurement, licensing, margins but also enjoys stepping back to improve processes, develop people, and drive operational excellence across the business.
The role:
- Take ownership of the full source-to-supply lifecycle, ensuring customers and internal teams receive the right solutions, at the right price, delivered accurately and on time.
- Lead quoting, ordering, and fulfilment activities, ensuring service levels and turnaround times are consistently met.
- Own supplier and distributor relationships, including negotiations, performance reviews, and escalations.
- Set and control pricing, margins, discount approvals, and deal structures.
- Govern Microsoft 365 Cloud Solution Provider licensing, including adds, changes, and renewals.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure billing accuracy, forecasting, and clean pipeline data.
- Own and improve ConnectWise CPQ and Procurement workflows, including Sage 50 integrations.
- Reduce errors, returns, and credits through robust processes and quality control.
- Manage compliance calendars, renewals, and recurring supplier checks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Source and Supply team, building a high-performing and accountable culture.
Leadership & collaboration:
This is a visible and influential role within the business. You will:
- Lead and mentor your team, setting clear expectations and driving high standards.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technical, and Service Delivery teams to align commercial and operational strategy.
- Ensure solutions sold to customers are realistic, deliverable, and commercially sound.
- Act as a key contributor within the management team, supporting wider business decisions.
- Champion continuous improvement, accountability, and performance-driven ways of working.
What I am looking for:
- At least five years’ experience in procurement or sales operations within an IT reseller or Managed Service Provider.
- Strong understanding of hardware procurement, software and subscription licensing, including Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with ConnectWise CPQ and Procurement, and Sage 50 (or similar).
- Proven commercial capability, with experience improving margins while remaining competitive.
- Confident people management experience, with a coaching and development mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-first approach.
Working pattern:
- Hybrid working.
- Minimum three days per week onsite in Paddock Wood, Kent, following successful completion of probation.
