Do you enjoy turning designs into clean, responsive, high-performing websites? Have you worked within a .NET / MVC environment and are confident bringing front-end builds into production? Do you like working at pace, solving problems, and seeing the real impact of your work on user experience and performance? If so, this could be a strong next step.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Front-End Developer to join a growing, technology-driven business investing heavily in its digital platforms. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where your core responsibility will be taking approved designs and translating them into production-ready front-end code within a .NET MVC environment. This is not a design role; you will be working from existing designs and focusing on building, improving, and delivering high-quality web experiences. You will be trusted to take ownership of your work, contribute to improvements across the website, and deliver to tight deadlines.
What you will be doing:
- Translating approved designs into responsive, production-ready front-end code
- Integrating front-end builds into a .NET / MVC platform (Razor views or similar)
- Ensuring high standards of UI/UX, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
- Monitoring and improving website performance, page speed, and usability
- Supporting analytics tracking (Google Analytics, GTM, events, conversions)
- Contributing to A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Working with APIs and integrations where required
- Troubleshooting live issues and improving existing functionality
- Supporting ongoing improvements across ecommerce and digital platforms
What we are looking for:
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Proven experience translating designs into high-quality front-end builds
- Experience working within a .NET / MVC environment (or similar templating frameworks)
- Good understanding of responsive design, performance optimisation, and accessibility
- Experience with Google Analytics / GTM or similar tracking tools
- Understanding of SEO and conversion rate optimisation principles
- Ability to work at pace and deliver to deadlines
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Nice to have (not essential):
- Power BI or data visualisation experience
- Exposure to automation or AI tools
- Experience with APIs and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms or environments
The environment
You will be joining a forward-thinking, sustainability-focused business investing in digital, data, and automation to improve customer experience and operational performance. This is a role where your work will be visible, valued, and make a real difference not just maintaining existing systems.
Package:
- Salary from 30,000 DOE (flexible for the right person)
- Company pension
- Cycle to work scheme
- On-site parking
- Staff discount
