As a Billing Administrator Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the Non-Recurring Revenue (NRR) / One-Off Billing process, ensuring that invoices for hardware, kit, engineering time, and project-based work are processed accurately and efficiently. You will lead a team, ensuring that invoicing queues are managed effectively and all invoices are issued before month-end to maximise cash flow. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading and managing the invoicing team, conducting monthly one-to-ones and performance analysis.
- Ensuring all invoices are processed before month-end deadlines.
- Overseeing the invoicing queue, making sure orders move swiftly from completion to billing.
- Reviewing purchase orders and contracts to ensure accurate customer invoicing.
- Managing one-off and project-based invoicing, including milestone billing.
- Working with internal teams, including Sales, Procurement, and Project Managers, to ensure seamless invoicing.
- Handling customer queries and ensuring any issues are resolved efficiently.
- Continuously improving billing processes and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in administration within an office environment, with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in a team leader or management role.
- Strong knowledge of finance platforms (Sage200 or similar).
- A customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- A proactive mindset, keen to challenge processes and drive improvements.
