Job Description
What you’ll do?
Every day as a Care Team Leader is different, but your leadership makes a lasting difference — empowering your team to deliver truly life-changing support. You will:
- Lead and supervise a dedicated team of Care Assistants to deliver outstanding, person-centred care in clients' own homes.
- Ensure personal care is always provided with the highest standards of dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Foster companionship, emotional support, and reassurance for clients while guiding your team to build strong, trusting relationships.
- Oversee safe and accurate assistance with medication, mobility, mealtimes, and daily living activities across the team.
- Act as a trusted leader within a close-knit, local team — providing guidance, motivation, hands-on support when needed, and being a positive role model for best practice.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for?
No leadership experience yet? That’s okay — we value potential and are committed to developing the right people. Whether you’re stepping up from a Care Assistant role or bringing supervisory experience in care, what matters most is your passion for quality care and your ability to inspire others. We’re looking for people who are:
- Naturally caring, compassionate, and committed to person-centred support.
- Strong leaders with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team of Care Assistants.
- Reliable, organised, and able to oversee high standards of care delivery.
- Eager to grow and develop (with our full training, supervision support, and pathways to qualifications like Level 3/4 in Leadership and Management).
- Experienced in adult social care (ideally with prior hands-on care experience and some supervisory/shift-leading exposure; full training provided if stepping up).
- Holders of a Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential for visiting clients, supporting the team in the community, and covering rotas).
