Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant

Location: Home-based (occasional travel to Leicester office)

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum

Region: Candidates must be based in England (Midlands or South)

The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in delivering business-critical Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions across a portfolio of projects based in the Midlands and London. This is a client-facing position where strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to gather and translate business requirements into tailored D365 CE solutions.
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 CE to meet client needs, ensuring quality and compliance with best practice.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation including functional designs, test plans, and training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable customisations.
• Lead client workshops, conduct user training sessions, and provide post-go-live support.
• Manage UAT cycles, resolve defects, and ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies, particularly within the Power Platform.

About You

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engagement) solutions.
• Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle, within Agile or Waterfall frameworks.
• Excellent documentation skills – examples will be requested at interview.
• Confident communicator, able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong functional knowledge including business rules, process flows, and interface customisation.
• Flexible and proactive, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as required.
• Based in England, within reach of the Midlands or London for client site visits.
