Consortium Professional Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a long established and highly successful business, within a commutable distance from Hull. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a recent Supply Chain or Logistics Graduate.
About the Role:
This role will involve working closely with the Logistics Manager and Coordinators, maintaining clear communication and supporting the team with administrative duties and documentation whilst upholding the values of the business at all times. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate (within the last 2 years) to get industry experience, as well as the opportunity to develop within a high performing business.
As the Supply Chain Graduate, your role would include:
- Manage all administrative tasks for products within assigned source areas.
- Input and maintain purchase orders, shipment plans, and order data in SAP.
- Coordinate with team, suppliers, and shipping lines to ensure timely clearance and booking of shipments.
- Monitor shipment status, escalate issues, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Inbound shipments, process supplier invoices, and maintain container tracking data through to return.
- Produce weekly container updates and support ad hoc reporting.
- Support risk management efforts and assist with projects as needed.
- Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to meeting KPI targets.
About you:
The successful Supply Chain Graduate will have the following attributes:
- Graduated within the last 2 years or about to graduate in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Highly organised with strong time management.
- Proactive, driven, and solutions-focused.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, resilient under pressure, and detail-oriented.
- Geographically knowledgeable with good numeracy and IT skills.
