Job Description

Consortium are representing a valued client, who are seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Coordinator .As a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be an integral part of the Container Operations Team, working closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless end-to-end coordination of container shipments. You’ll help manage risk, optimise shipment margins, and ensure our client continues to deliver best-in-class container logistics solutions.This is a dynamic role that requires a forward-thinking, organised, and detail-driven professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys problem-solving on a global scale.About the role:

  • Planning and coordinating container shipments from source to destination, in line with commercial agreements.
  • Acting as a key liaison between internal teams, external logistics providers, inspection agencies, and customers.
  • Handling container claims with shipping lines and cargo insurers when required.
  • Producing timely and accurate forecasting and planning information for all stakeholders.
  • Supporting integration and optimisation of SAP within the container operations function.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve service levels, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Contributing to departmental KPIs and collaborating on wider logistics projects.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a container logistics or supply chain coordination role, ideally internationally.
  • Excellent knowledge of shipping documentation
  • Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
