This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic FMCG environment where planning excellence is critical to success. You will act as the vital link between forecasting, production, and supply chain operations, ensuring products are available when customers need them. As Planning Manager, you will play a central role in aligning business functions, improving planning accuracy, and driving efficiencies that enhance both performance and customer satisfaction. This role offers real influence and visibility across the organisation, with the opportunity to shape processes and outcomes.
The Opportunity:
- Leading the creation and delivery of accurate demand and supply plans aligned with sales forecasts and production capacity
- Collaborating with cross functional teams including sales, marketing, procurement, and production to ensure seamless product availability
- Monitoring trends, promotions, and seasonal patterns to proactively adjust plans and reduce risk
- Optimising inventory levels across multiple sites to balance availability with cost and waste reduction
- Using data and systems such as ERP tools and Power BI to generate insights and improve decision making
Your work will directly contribute to improved service levels, reduced waste, and stronger operational performance across the business.
About You:
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP or MRP systems
- Proven experience within S&OP processes and inventory optimisation strategies
- Confidence in stakeholder management with the ability to communicate clearly across teams
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, able to anticipate challenges and respond effectively
- Leadership experience with the ability to support, develop, and motivate teams
