We are seeking a Worldwide Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering team, delivering hands-on technical expertise to clients across Europe, Africa, the Americas and beyond. This is a client-facing role that combines technical authority with the ability to guide, coach and support engineers and operators at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert, ensuring equipment is installed, commissioned and maintained to the highest standards
- Provide training, coaching and education to engineers, operators and end users
- Deliver a mix of technical supervision, troubleshooting and maintenance planning
- Represent the company on site, working closely with contractors and customers
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and compliance requirements wherever in the world you may be
This is an off-the-tools position. You will not be carrying out physical installation, but instead using your technical knowledge to guide others and oversee successful outcomes.
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in varied and challenging environments, with the professionalism and maturity to represent the business globally.
- A full passport with no travel restrictions and the flexibility to travel internationally at short notice, typically 50 to 70 percent of the time
- A mechanical qualification at Level 3 or apprenticeship-trained as a minimum
- A background in process engineering, fabrication or heavy engineering, with other large-scale industrial or mechanical backgrounds also considered
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to be client facing and build effective relationships
- A strong understanding of health and safety and the ability to uphold these standards in all environments
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and commitment to building a long-term career in a specialist engineering field
- Must live within Yorkshire or Lincolnshire as when not overseas you will be at the offices/HQ
