The Opportunity: As a Junior HSE Coordinator you'll play a key role in:

  • Supporting day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site
  • Assisting with risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections
  • Helping managers and teams identify hazards and implement safe working practices
  • Supporting accident, incident and near miss investigations
  • Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the business
  • Assisting with the coordination of emergency procedures, site surveys and compliance activities
  • Supporting the ongoing development of HSE systems, procedures and best practice standards

Your work as a Junior HSE Coordinator will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant and positive working environment for all employees while supporting a business committed to continuous improvement and investment.

About You: We're looking for someone who can bring:

  • An interest in developing a career within Health, Safety & Environment
  • IOSH certification or candidates who have achieved or started studying towards a NEBOSH qualification
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience within manufacturing, warehouse/logistics or FMCG environments would be beneficial but is not essential
  • A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role and site requirements
