The Opportunity:
- As a Compliance Coordinator you’ll play a key role within both the SHEQ team and across the whole business.
Key Duties:
- Keeping policies, procedures and forms up to date, controlled and accessible for users across the organisation.
- Monitoring legal registers and legislative changes, ensuring proactive updates to systems and processes.
- Leading on internal audit scheduling and delivery, and supporting external audit readiness and successful outcomes.
- Investigating and analysing incidents and trends, ensuring root causes are addressed through clear corrective and preventative actions.
- Supporting readiness across projects and sites, including quality plans, stage gates and operational compliance support.
Your work will directly contribute to keeping the organisation audit-ready and aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
About You:
- An understanding of ISO 9001 standards and associated compliance frameworks.
- Strong internal auditing skills, ideally with hands-on experience in managing or contributing to audit programmes.
- Experience supporting or managing quality control plans, including input into supplier assurance or project compliance.
- A solutions-focused approach, confident in analysing problems and presenting practical improvements.
- Ideally have worked within a Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental or Sustainability based department within Manufacturing, Engineering or Construction.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, able to work collaboratively across teams and influence positive change.
- Driving license is critical to carry out some of the off-site audits.
