This Internal Sales Advisor opportunity offers the chance to become a trusted point of contact for customers while playing an important part in the continued growth of an established engineering supplies business.
The Opportunity:
- Responding to customer enquiries and processing sales orders received by telephone and email.
- Building positive, long-term relationships with allocated customer accounts and providing a consistently helpful service.
- Monitoring back orders, keeping customers informed and helping resolve queries throughout the order process.
- Working alongside the external sales team to support customer opportunities and promotional activity.
- Raising purchase orders and preparing accurate, competitive quotations, including tender submissions.
Your work will directly contribute to a positive customer experience, stronger client relationships and the continued growth of the business.
About You:
- Experience in internal sales, sales support, account support or a customer service environment.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with different customers and colleagues.
- Good organisation skills and the ability to balance several priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to take ownership of customer queries.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine commitment to providing a high standard of service.
- Experience within engineering, industrial distribution or technical products would be useful, but it is not essential.
The Benefits and Package:
- Salary from £30,000 per annum.
- A full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.
- One Saturday morning in every four, paid as overtime.
- 25 days holiday plus an additional day off for your birthday.
