This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking engineering environment where quality, safety and teamwork are central to everything they do. As an Assembly Fitter, you will play a vital role in assembling precision engineered products and supporting customers globally. This role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to travel overseas, working closely with service and commissioning teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
The Opportunity: As an Assembly Fitter you'll play a key role in:
- Assembling and fitting components using engineering drawings and specifications with accuracy and care.
- Carrying out machining activities including drilling, tapping, reaming and related operations using appropriate equipment.
- Using jigs and fixtures to position and assemble products to exact tolerances.
- Completing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards and customer expectations.
- Supporting repairs, servicing and on site work, including overseas travel to assist service and commissioning teams.
- Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of reliable, high quality products used by customers across a global market.
About You: We're looking for someone who can bring:
- Proven experience as an Assembly Fitter within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical instructions.
- Mechanical engineering qualifications with an NVQ level 3 being ESSENTIAL.
- A full, clean driving licence and a valid passport, with a genuine willingness to travel internationally as part of the role.
- A proactive, team focused approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
