This is a rare opportunity to take a pivotal technical leadership role with a company that designs and manufactures a range of safety-critical products, where performance, compliance and continuous improvement are all paramount.
The Opportunity:
- Maintain existing designs, revision, managing new product integration, and steering site development projects to support growth.
- Owning the technical documentation and compliance process, ensuring all systems meet rigorous international standards.
- Providing hands-on support with complex CAD projects, while also offering oversight and mentorship to a growing design team.
- Driving structural design and analysis, numerical modelling, and liaising with notified bodies and international technical committees.
- Managing the commissioning of manufacturing equipment and taking ownership of construction-related engineering initiatives.
Your work will directly contribute to the safe, compliant and timely delivery of innovative engineering solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment.
About You:
- Proven structural or mechanical design experience within a safety-critical, manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and a disciplined, analytical approach to design evaluation.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, lead suppliers and contractors, and represent the business externally.
- Ambition to grow into a more senior leadership role in the future, with the desire to build and lead a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience or confidence working with hydraulic, mechanical, electrical or software systems is advantageous.
- You’ll be naturally curious, confident in your decisions, and humble enough to seek input when needed.
