This is a site-based days role with a dynamic and collaborative organisation where safety, sustainability and innovation are at the heart of operations. You'll be key in ensuring plant reliability and performance while promoting best practices in engineering and safety compliance.
The Opportunity:
- Leading planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the site
- Carrying out detailed fault finding and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) implementing Right First Time solutions
- Working with PLCs, HMIs and DCS systems to ensure reliable automation and control
- Mentoring colleagues to promote strong technical knowledge and safe working practices
- Actively contributing to site-wide Continuous Improvement and ESG goals
Your work will directly contribute to a safer, more efficient and sustainable site operation.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Apprentice trained Electrical Engineer
- Experience working with fault-finding on PLCs and Control systems
- 17th or 18th Edition certification
- Commitment to safety and quality with a strong understanding of permit systems, risk assessments and COSHH procedures
- Experience using CMMS and managing contractors
- Good Health and Safety awareness and ideally IOSH trained
- A team player with strong communication skills and the drive to continuously improve systems and performance
- Ideally some experience working within a Chemical, Process, Atex or hazardous based Environment
