Job Description Job Title: Credit Controller Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with an established manufacturing business to recruit a Credit Controller for their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the broader side of credit control. You’ll take ownership of customer accounts, keep on top of outstanding debt, resolve queries, monitor credit exposure and support month-end activity. As a Credit Controller you’ll play a key role in: Managing your own customer accounts and building strong working relationships to support timely payment. Reviewing credit limits and customer terms, carrying out credit checks and helping ensure new accounts are set up correctly. Supporting month-end activity, including reporting, reconciliations, aged debt reviews and wider finance tasks. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Customer Service and Commercial teams to resolve customer queries and support good decision-making. You’ll also have exposure to international accounts and multiple currencies, including Euros and US Dollars. Strong, hands-on credit control experience and a good understanding of how to manage customer accounts from set-up through to payment. Confidence using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Manufacturing experience would be an added bonus but is not essential.
