Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Hull £49,750 Shift 4 on 4 off (Days)
Our client, a well-established food manufacturer is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their Hull site. With major site investment and cutting-edge equipment upgrades, this is an exciting time to get on board.
The Role
Working on a 4 on 4 off days shift, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of automated production and packaging equipment within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working with PLCs, relays, and variable speed drives (VSDs).
- Supporting process improvements and engineering projects.
- Collaborating with operations teams to ensure smooth running of production.
About You
You will be a time-served Maintenance Engineer or Technician with a strong multi-skilled (electrical/mechanical) background. Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a fast-paced automated environment is highly desirable. The candidate can be either bias, but must be confident in both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding. Confident working with PLCs, relays, and drives. A self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and continuous improvement.
