This is a diverse and engaging opportunity suited to individuals with strong technical acumen and a proactive mindset. You will enjoy both hands-on site work and office-based development support, collaborating closely with engineering experts and customers around the world.
The Opportunity: As a Commissioning Engineer you'll play a key role in:
- Commissioning and starting up advanced mechanical equipment at customer sites globally
- Supporting customers with technical guidance through remote tools including TEAMS and email
- Conducting servicing and maintenance on machinery both in the UK and overseas
- Assisting in product and process trials, both on-site and at international R&D facilities
- Capturing customer requirements and data to support reverse engineering and design improvements
Your work will directly contribute to the innovation, performance, and reliability of cutting-edge processing systems.
About You: We're looking for someone who can bring:
- Must be apprentice trained to NVQ level 3 or HND trained as a minimum
- Hands-on experience with machine maintenance or assembly, with the ability to work independently
- An understanding of process plant and solids handling equipment
- Basic CAD and Solidworks knowledge
- Clear, confident communication skills across various stakeholders
- A proactive, detail-driven attitude with a focus on 'getting it right first time'
- Must be flexible and happy to worldwide travel throughout the year
- Additional language skills and a basic understanding of PLC or electrical systems would be advantageous
