This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, supporting product quality, process performance and continuous improvement initiatives. As a Quality Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, improve manufacturing outcomes and ensure products consistently meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This role offers the opportunity to influence quality standards, drive meaningful improvements and contribute to the success of critical manufacturing operations.

The Opportunity: As a Quality Engineer you'll play a key role in:

  • Providing day-to-day quality engineering support to manufacturing operations and ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Leading structured root cause investigations using recognised problem-solving methodologies including 5 Why, Fishbone, DMAIC and 8D.
  • Supporting change control activities, risk assessments, verification and validation processes to ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained.
  • Conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R studies and statistical analysis to drive data-led decision making.
  • Leading and supporting continuous improvement projects focused on process capability, defect reduction, yield improvement and operational excellence.

Your work will directly contribute to product quality, regulatory compliance, manufacturing efficiency and positive customer outcomes.

About You: We're looking for someone who can bring:

  • Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry, ideally within medical devices or a similarly controlled environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality engineering principles including root cause analysis, validation, risk management and statistical methods.
  • Experience using Six Sigma tools such as MSA, SPC, DOE, capability analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across operational, engineering and quality teams.
  • A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering high standards.
