This is an opportunity to join an established operation where you'll have the scope to solve problems, improve equipment reliability and contribute ideas that make a genuine difference. Working across planned and reactive maintenance, you'll support plant machinery, equipment and site infrastructure while helping the wider operations team maintain a safe, efficient working environment. The role combines electrical expertise with mechanical and pneumatic knowledge, fault finding, project support and continuous improvement. The Opportunity: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer Days working Monday to Friday 40 hour week, you'll play a key role in: • Delivering planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across plant machinery and equipment, responding effectively to breakdowns and minimising disruption. • Using fault finding and root cause analysis to identify issues, develop practical solutions and improve equipment reliability. • Supporting building and site maintenance, statutory inspections, equipment commissioning and the safe management of external contractors. • Contributing to engineering projects and capital investment activity, from initial research through to installation and commissioning. • Maintaining accurate plant records and supporting a strong health, safety and environmental culture, including risk assessments, safe working procedures and audit preparation. Your work will directly contribute to safer operations, improved plant reliability and the continued development of effective maintenance practices across the site. About You: We're looking for someone who can bring: Proven experience working in Electrical Maintenance within a Food, Chemical, Process or Manufacturing Environment Must have served an Electrical apprenticeship and ideally have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing, or an equivalent qualification. Strong electrical fault-finding skills alongside practical mechanical and pneumatic knowledge. Experience using maintenance software A good understanding and appreciation of health and safety The role also requires the ability to work at height and in confined spaces when necessary.
