Consortium is pleased to be partnering with our client in their search for a Design Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join this manufacturing business who are based in Hull.
Working within a drawing office you will be creating both 2D and 3D designs and models. You will have opportunities to liaise with various internal manufacturing departments and on occasions be involved with project work. This role will suit someone who has a passion for mechanical engineering.
Design Engineer role & responsibilities:
- Creating structured 3D models.
- Creating 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Designing in-line with industry regulations.
- Liaising with manufacturing teams as and when needed.
The position is well suited to someone who has:
- Experience in both 2D and 3D design.
- A good understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- An appreciation of DFMA.
- Experience of Lean Manufacturing.
Design Engineer Salary & Benefits:
- Salary per annum £39,000 to £44,000
