Your daily tasks will include: Creating and managing production schedules : You’ll be responsible for developing detailed, accurate production plans based on forecasted demand, working closely with the production team to ensure timely execution. Liaising with internal stakeholders : Communicating effectively with departments such as production, procurement, and sales to gather relevant information and update schedules as needed. Monitoring inventory levels : You will track raw materials and finished goods inventories, ensuring that the supply chain is in balance to meet production requirements and avoid delays. Managing production risks and identifying issues : Proactively identifying potential disruptions in production timelines, including supply chain delays, staffing issues, or machinery downtime, and taking steps to mitigate these risks. Ensuring adherence to quality standards : Collaborating with the quality control team to ensure that production schedules align with the company’s strict quality standards. Reporting and documentation : Maintaining accurate records of production plans, stock levels, and any changes to the schedules, as well as providing regular updates to management. What You’ll Need to Succeed: To excel in this role, you’ll need: Proven experience in production and supply chain planning : You’ll need to have worked in a manufacturing environment, where you have developed the skills to manage production schedules and coordinate with various departments.
