As the Design Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, and ensure that design deliverables meet technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements. Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of project designs, ensuring alignment with technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
- Develop and manage design programmes and budgets.
- Oversee the creation of detailed design packages, from initial concepts to final documentation.
- Coordinate input from civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines across in-house and subcontract teams.
- Chair internal and external design reviews, ensuring spatial and functional coordination.
- Liaise with clients, site teams, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and resolve issues.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for project design deliverables.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in design management within a construction or engineering-related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary inputs and deliverables.
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
