This is a key position within a well-equipped, forward-thinking engineering team. It’s ideal for a multi-skilled specialist who thrives on solving technical challenges, enjoys guiding others, and wants to make a lasting impact across the site.
The Opportunity:
- Providing expert-level support across both mechanical and electrical systems – diagnosing issues, making critical repairs, and keeping production running smoothly.
- Acting as a senior presence on shift – guiding less experienced engineers and offering practical support where needed.
- Championing continuous improvement, from asset care routines to equipment optimisation.
- Playing a vital part in ensuring compliance with safety, operational and quality standards.
- Maximising the use of the CMMS platform to manage and report on planned and reactive maintenance activity.
- You’ll be central to ensuring equipment reliability and operational performance across a busy, high-spec manufacturing site.
About You:
- A strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering – ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) as a minimum.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a sound understanding of modern maintenance practices.
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of technical issues whether it be Mechanical or Electrical problems.
- Someone with strong PLC fault finding skills.
- A genuine interest in developing others and contributing to a high-performing team.
