This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware professional who enjoys turning technical information into accurate, competitive quotations while working closely with customers and internal teams.
The successful Estimator will join a collaborative and supportive environment where your input will genuinely influence project success. You will play a key role in supporting customer enquiries, reviewing technical specifications and helping to deliver high-quality project solutions across a varied workload.
The Opportunity:
- Assessing incoming project enquiries and reviewing technical information to develop clear and competitive pricing proposals
- Producing detailed cost breakdowns covering materials, labour, external services and operational requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are commercially sound and deliverable within operational capabilities
- Building strong working relationships with customers and supply chain partners to support accurate and timely quotations
- Providing clear project information to operational teams to support a smooth transition from quotation through to delivery
Your work will directly contribute to delivering commercially successful projects, maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting continued business growth.
About You:
- Previous experience within estimating, manufacturing, production or another technically focused commercial environment
- Confidence reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project requirements
- A practical understanding of production processes, materials and project coordination
- Strong numerical ability with a detail-focused and commercially aware approach
- The ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- A well-organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, technical projects or industrial environments would be beneficial
- Familiarity with estimating software, ERP systems or project management tools would be advantageous
