Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working exclusively with our client to recruit a Mechanical Estimator for a growing and highly respected organisation delivering specialist solutions across the UK and Europe. This is an opportunity to join a business known for quality, speed and reliability, working on projects for leading global customers.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting technical documentation to understand full project requirements
- Producing accurate cost estimates across mechanical scopes
- Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and realistic pricing
- Preparing clear tender submissions including reports, specifications and supporting data
- Supporting post tender activities including re quotes, meetings and technical clarifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator (M&E Bias) or similar estimating role within construction
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems within building or mission critical environments
- Ability to interpret drawings, models and bills of quantities with accuracy
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively across cross functional teams
- Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills with the ability to present technical information effectively
- Experience using MS Office and CAD or 3D take off tools such as Revit, Navisworks or BIM platforms
- Experience of working in mission critical facilities is desirable but not essential
