We're working with a well-invested industrial processing business that has recently undergone major upgrades. They're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary maintenance team. If you're someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement, this could be your ideal next step.
The Opportunity:
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across plant machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing electrical faults, especially on PLC control systems and instrumentation
- Supporting the wider team by sharing expertise and upskilling junior engineers
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of PPM strategies and engineering projects
- Operating safely and responsibly in a demanding environment, with respect for safety standards and operational efficiency
Your work will directly contribute to minimising downtime, improving plant reliability, and strengthening team capability.
About You:
- Solid experience in electrical engineering within an industrial/process plant environment
- Strong skills in fault finding and working with control panels, PLCs, Variable Speed Drives and instrumentation
- Must have good Health and Safety Awareness
- A true team player and be able to work both alone and part of a small team
- The ability to work effectively in challenging conditions (odours, oil residues, corrosive environments)

- Regular paid overtime due to ongoing project work
- Monday to Friday day shift (08:00 to 16:30), 40-hour week
