Responsibilities:
- Report to Head of Engineering on tendering function
- Responsible for construction planning, scheduling and baseline programme with resource allocation for tender submission
- Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies
- Assist the preparation and review of tender drawings, method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, proposals etc.
- Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit
- Assist project site planning and programming when required
- Assist in developing PowerPoint presentations to seek Board or Management approval
Requirements:
- Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and Primavera P6
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, work on multiple tenders concurrently and mentor junior colleagues
- Experience completing 2 project cycles is an added advantage
