About the Sales Role
As KROHNE Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and customer needs. The responsibilities revolve around selling and supporting instrumentation solutions used in process industries not limited to industry like oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and maintain business strategies by achieving sales target and increased market shares.
- Visits customer to drive sales pitch and product presentations.
- Ensure sales visibility through adoption of CRM, project pursuit list, weekly sales reporting.
- Responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit target.
- Align and link business strategies set by company.
- Build strong relationship with existing and new customers.
- Provide sales and after-sales support, in coordination with our internal departments and customers.
- Prepare sales quotations in ERPLN system for customer.
- Follow up with after sales issues.
- Monitors sales quotation status and forecast.
- Performs order screening and preparation for clean order processing in coordination with the PMO team.
- Market studies and feedback to Head of Sales.
- Ensures proper documentation of all sales quotations in line with the ISO standards and processes.
- Participate in any ad-hoc projects as assigned by management and or sales manager from time to time.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge with the teams.
Competences
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales in process instrumentation, valves or automation or similar industry.
- Independent and team player.
- Hands-on technical knowledge, product demonstration skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Excellent business communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in closing deals and negotiating terms.
- Experience and a strong network in the process instrumentation and control industry are preferred.
- Project experience will be advantageous.
- Familiar with CRM and ERPLN.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point).
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic/Electrical, Chemical or any Engineering field.
- Experience working in MNC’s under Matrix environment on Product management, Project Sales Teams, Global Industry Teams and Technology & Applications within process industry.
