Reporting to the Shopping Experience Manager, you will be the liaison officer to provide a positive and joyful shopping experience that creates trust in the IKEA Brand for all IKEA visitors and customers.
Your assignment:
- Ensure IKEA Alexandra Store is a friendly, safe and secure environment for all IKEA visitors and customers.
- Understanding and contributing to the department’s action plans and taking ownership on your part for deliverables.
- Being knowledgeable around customer shopping experience and the daily checklists to improve on the customer service delivery.
- Being responsible for the children’s safety and cleanliness in Smaland, and amenities such as 1st Aid Room, Nursing Room, etc.
- Plan, co‑ordinate and follow up on the IKEA Family activities and IKEA Family Kids Club activities.
- Handling all customers’ queries or complaints professionally and improve customer service delivery to enhance customers’ shopping experience.
- You will record information, handle paperwork and compile statistics, general housekeeping and other duties related to the job.

- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with passion for children and people.
- You are a committed and motivated team player, who is also able to work independently.
- You are able to provide solutions for customers and assist on operational issues.
- You have good computer literacy, multi‑tasking ability and enjoy being in a hands‑on operation role.
- You are able to commit to working both retail shifts during store operating hours, inclusive of both weekends and Public Holidays.
