The Head of Asia Pacific is responsible for leading and driving the company's overall business performance, growth strategy, and operational excellence across the Asia Pacific region. This role provides strategic, commercial, and operational leadership to ensure sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, customer satisfaction, and strong people leadership, while aligning regional priorities with global objectives.
The role oversees all regional functions including sales, service, operations, finance, and people leadership, and serves as the key representative of Glory with major customers, partners, and stakeholders across APAC.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the APAC regional strategy aligned with Glory’s vision, objectives, and values.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share across both mature and emerging APAC markets.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies, including digital, managed services, and solution-based offerings.
- Lead regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Commercial & Customer Leadership
- Oversee regional sales and service performance, ensuring strong execution, pipeline discipline, and customer retention.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, financial institutions, retailers, and strategic partners.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions, services, and customer experience across the region.
- Operational Excellence
- Provide oversight of regional operations, services, and supply chain activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Drive standardisation, process improvements, and cost optimisation while respecting local market needs.
- Ensure effective risk management, governance, and compliance with regional regulatory and legal requirements.
- People & Culture
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing regional leadership team.
- Foster a strong performance culture with clear accountability, inclusive leadership, and talent development.
- Champion employee engagement, succession planning, and leadership capability building across APAC.
- Act as a role model for Glory’s values, ethics, and leadership behaviours.
- Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Act as the primary regional interface with Global Leadership Team and Corporate functions.
- Provide regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations to global leadership.
- Represent Glory at regional industry forums, customer events, and key external engagements.
- Proven senior leadership experience (typically 15+ years) in a multinational, B2B and technology-led organisation, preferably within cash management, financial technology, automation, or complex solution industries.
- Demonstrated success leading large, diverse teams across multiple APAC markets.
- Strong track record in driving growth, turnaround, or transformation initiatives at regional level.
- Deep commercial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibility.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.
- Experience working in a matrixed global organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Japanese and English is mandatory with the ability to conduct business negotiations, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement in Japanese.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory due to the highly technical and engineering-led nature of Glory's products, services, and operating model.
