Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting
- Assist with monthly closing activities and preparation of journals.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and financial schedules.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and support statutory accounts & XBRL requirements.
- Provide support during audits and insurance renewals.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Review sales and purchase ledgers.
- Support intercompany billings and debtors/vendors reconciliation.
- Prepare commissions, payroll journals, and vendor payments.
- GST & Tax
- Assist with GST submissions and reconciliation tests.
- Prepare tax and deferred tax workings.
- Support corporate tax computations alongside Head Office and tax consultants.
- Fixed Assets & Capex
- Maintain the fixed asset register and capex records.
- Prepare costing for demo registrations.
- Cashflow & Banking
- Monitor daily cashflow and update daily reports.
- Liaise with financial institutions on account, signatory, and funding matters.
- Cross-functional Support
- Provide guidance to shared services and operations on day-to-day accounting matters.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in problem-solving
